The traditional CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program is designed to form a partnership between the consumer and farmer. The consumer essentially finances the start of the season by buying a share (typically $600 to $1000 for the season) and gets the farmer going. The farmer provides a veggie basket every week during the season. The farmer and consumer share in good times and bad, if there is a crop failure the veggie basket ends up being less veggies.
I call our platform "Open Format CSA" for 2 big reasons, One, we have freezer meats and eggs and two, we don't ask you for $600+ up front, just pay as you go! Click the pdf file to the right for detailed instructions on getting started |
